Yep, after two long years of trying, we're pregnant with twins!! Thanks to the miracle of modern medicine, everything is looking great. Due date is Marth 7th, 2006, but twins are often delivered weeks earlier.

Don MacAskill > On 6-17-05, we had embryos transferred from the IVF lab to Elizabeth's uterus. They look like a white line under the X. (Note the huge black blob? That's poor Liz's super-full bladder).

Don MacAskill > On 7-14-05, we saw their heartbeats for the first time! Those black blobs are the sacks, but they're about the size of grains of rice.

Don MacAskill > 07-24-2005, we saw both heartbeats simultaneously and they were both very fast and very strong. The larger sack holds the (slightly) smaller fetus.

Don MacAskill > Another view of 07-24-2005. One was 13mm and the other was 14.5mm. That means they're at approx. 7w4d and 7w5d worth of growth, respectively. Since we're 7w5d exactly, we're right on schedule.
